ART OF LIVING WORKSHOP

The purpose of education is to prepare a student for life & hence Punjab Technical University in association with Vyakti Vikas Kendra –“Art of Living Foundation”, proposed a sponsored “Training in Excellence “workshop for all its colleges & students.
Quest Group of Institutions availed this beautiful opportunity & has become the Premier College in PTU to have successfully conducted & completed this inventive workshop from 24 Sep- 27 Sep in its college premises. Quest has been very passionate about all such activities which could lead to a well-rounded education as only well-rounded youngsters improve in their personal performance and bring laurels; not only to the institute but also to their workplace and society.
More than 110 students ardently participated & benefitted from the workshop, which touched upon the following topics through various activities:

At the end of the Program the students were elated & Vikramjeet Singh an ECE student said, “This program empowers you physically – through simple yogasanas; mentally and emotionally – through cleansing breathing techniques including Sudarshan Kriya.”Anuj Kumar, an MBA student expressed that” We had fun in team games and interactive processes, and group discussions about the issues that affect our life: dealing with friendships and relationships, how to concentrate better on studies, how we can reach our potential.”
Overall, the whole exercise was very satisfying as it helped students gain the ability to take the right decisions through the power of “Sudarshan Kriya”. Also how to overcome nervousness and stage fear with simple techniques were discussed. The Crux of the workshop was to Learn to love you, learn to share with others and handle problems with a smile, instead of a frown -Come and see the world from a different point of view.
