CSE-Trip to Dalhousie


Computer Science and Engineering department of Quest Group of Institutions organized a trip to Dalhousie for the students of 4th and 6th Semester accompanied by two faculty members Mr Vaneet and Ms Rimpy.

It was a four day trip full of entertainment as there was something for everyone. Nature lovers explored the scenic locales, photography enthusiasts treated themselves on picture perfect surroundings and those who had a penchant for the past explored temples, churches and other such intriguing tourist attractions. One of the students pointed out rightly that they discovered the real meaning of natural beauty on a tour to Dalhousie.

Students visited Subhash Baoli named after the famous freedom fighter, Subhash Chandra Bose and the place is full of greenery.

Afterwards, the students were taken to Satdhara Falls, located on the way to Panchpula where they enjoyed in the serene beauty of waterfalls and one of the most popular sightseeing attractions of Dalhousie which is filled with scenic beauty, serene ambiance and very pleasant weather. On the way to Panjpulla, visited G.P.O Square.

Students also spent a day at Khajjiar and enjoyed snowfall at Dain Kund hills on the way to Khajjiar.

Other places which were visited by students were Chamera dam where they had a great time enjoying boating and also visited Gandhi Chowk and had gala time shopping.

Overall, it was an adventurous trip for students and they enjoyed it thoroughly.
