Dress To Impress-Organised by Literary Club


“Clothes don’t make the man, but they can make the man look great.”

A very thoughtful event-Dress to Impress was organized by Literary Club of Quest Group of Institutions on 10th April, 2015 with the motive how to Dress for success in Interviews.

The judges for the event were: Mr. Sandeep Singh Sandhu- HOD(ME), Mrs. Roshni Soni-HOD( Applied Sciences), Mrs. Monica D Mehta, Head (Trainings & Placements)  and Mrs. Mandeep Hundal.

The event started with the very first Round, that’s, SELF TALK. In this round, participants did a Ramp walk, showcasing their professional ethics followed by introduction session. Out of 30 students best 10 was selected for second round.

Students were judged on the basis of; the way they dressed up, Confidence, Body Language & Communication Skills.

The second round was question-answer round. Students were given 1minute to write an answer. Later they were supposed to read what they had written. Finally best 2 dressed up Boys & 2 Girls were chosen on the basis of their response.

Literary Club Coordinator-Ms. Shivani Chauhan congratulated the students and said, “Dressing well is the “icing on top of the cake.” So, Dress in the way that is comfortable to you and in a stylistic manner that makes you feel fresh & professional”. She also added, dressing well can clinch your exuberance for your career, showcase your exuberant qualities and secure your confidence. Meanwhile, she appreciated the efforts of participants & the students coordinator of Literary club who made the event a memorable one.

Exciting and Interesting event ended with Vote of thanks & Prize Distribution to the Winners of Dress to Impress.
