FLAIR – The Annual Cultural Fest organized by Quest Group of Institutions was one day gala event, which left both the students and spectators spellbound. There was a huge wave of festivity in the campus, the entire day and students energetically participated in host of activities organized on this special day. The event was powered by Mohali Central, Croma, Revive By Schwarzkopf and managed by Vistar Solutions.

The flair demonstrated by the students in the College Annual function was the proof that the students have good and healthy mix of culture from various parts of India, Africa and Nepal. Breaking Grounds Dance Troupe was special attraction of the day. They mesmerized audience with their Acrobat act, Baloon Dance, Liliput Dance, Guitar act, Fire and Juggling act performed by team member Jassi-Guiness book world record holder.

The programme began with Traditional Lamp Lightening & Saraswati Vandana. The cultural function put up by the students was an amalgamation of superb dances, melodious songs, thought provoking skits, in which each and every student outshined on the stage. The Fashion show received great applause from the spectators. The high-voltage rock band performance by our students was much-admired. The magical spectacle, continued with students from various states dressed up in their native costumes & fineries & dancing to their traditional music & songs. Such events gave the chance to students to showcase their culture.

 This gala show was followed by felicitation and distribution of prizes & certificates of merit in due acknowledgement to the students, of the college for their exemplary performance in different academic & cultural pursuits. Chief Guest- Ms Vibhu Raj ,IPS, Inspector General of Police (Crime), Guest of Honour -Sh Deepak Vohra, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau presided over the function & distributed the awaited awards, along with Chairman of Quest Group, Mr.D.S. Sekhon, Vice Chairman  Mr.H.P.S Kanda & Vice Chairman Mr.J.P.S.Dhaliwal & Director Dr P.K.Bansal.

Chairman of Quest Group, Mr.D.S. Sekhon , was greatly impressed by the bundle of talent of the college students & addressed the audience “The purpose of these fests  is to bring the College community together in a shared enterprise that celebrates all cultures, creativity, talent, innovations, experiments, & achievements of our vigorous students.”

Students at Quest every year lead this show with full enthusiasm, and novelty of concept, Right from conceptualization of idea, selection of theme, using their skills to get sponsors on board marketing and promotion of event, and managing the event, with added flavor of fun. This year also Students at Quest did this with passion and tenacity, when they organized various events for which they prepared with full passion.

The Chief Guest was mighty impressed by the  event & commented that ”This Cultural  festival also provides a real life learning platform to the students as they are involved in it right from planning to execution. This makes them responsible and he guided to follow the same path in real life also.” Guest of Honour encouraged students to work hard as it will surely lead to success otherwise there is no other shortcut to success.”

Vice Chairman, the Backbone of Quest was elated & proud of his team & congratulated each one of the student & faculty on the success of this high voltage event. He beamed  with pride & said “Right from running around, to manage the show, handle the stress our students are perfect, and this event gave them a platform to learning by doing, and convert what we teach them in class, implement them practically. Questians had a gala time celebrating the day to the fullest.
