Alok Nath has done it Again!! B.Tech.-Civil student of Quest Group of Institutions has made us proud yet again, by winning a Gold Medal in Senior PHUNABA ANISHUBA event in the 4th “Chandigarh State Thang –Ta Championship” (Indian Martial Art) held on 17th August.

Earlier, an event- ‘National Open Ash-Te-Do Federation Cup 2013’ held under the aegis of ‘National Ash-Te-Do Akhada Federation of India’, he secured third position in the 76 kg category of Hastkala. He was awarded a Bronze Medal for his achievement.

The event was held between 14-16 June, 2013, at Maharana Pratap Public School in Kurukshetra (Haryana). A total of 715 players from about 17 states had participated in the event that included the sub-events- Padkala, Hastkala, Pad-santulan, Muktkala, and Purnkala.

Prior to it , in December 2012, Alok Nath got a Yellow Belt to his credit. He now holds the Black Belt after this recent event.
