Industry visit-Tynor Orthopaedics (P) Ltd.

Tynor Plant 1An industry visit to Tynor Orthopaedics (P) Ltd., one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of orthopedic appliances and fracture aids; was organised for students of Quest Group of Institutions on 07 August 2013. The group of 26 students from the management course was accompanied by three staff members.

The visit started with the ‘introduction and purpose round’ by Ms.Tinderjit, the HR Manager. She spoke with the students and gave them an insight of the industry expectation and how they have to keep themselves prepared while doing MBA. This was followed by a presentation by Mr. P.J. Singh (MD).  His speech inspired all and he gave valid examples, which all students could relate to.

Post presentation, students asked several questions, which were all answered to their utmost satisfaction by the MD.

Students were taken to the round-of the plant by Mr. Arjun (Er.), where they got a real-time view of the work-in-progress across different units.

Students learned a lot by observation and enjoyed each minute of the trip. The visit helped the students to understand the manufacturing process used at the unit and also the various quality measures used by them to adhere to the high quality standards. This visit gave them a preview of the breadth of MBA and helped them visualize their chosen profession.
