International Girl Child Day Celebrated
Quest Group of Institutions took an initiative to celebrate International Girl Child Day. There are 1.1 billion girls in the world, and every one of them deserves equal opportunities for a better future. They are a source of energy, power, and creativity. They can drive change and help build a better future for all.
The International Day of the Girl Child gives people and organizations the opportunity to raise public awareness of the different types of discrimination and abuse that many girls around the world suffer from. On this day, many community and political leaders talk to the public about the importance of girls’ right to equal education and their fundamental freedoms. Various events are held to showcase the work that people are doing to empower girls through active support and engagement with parents, families, and the wider community.
Many activities were organized at the campus level, where girls from all the departments participated in different activities. Girls participated in events like Hair Styling, Mehndi, Poster Making Competition, Nail Art. Everybody was seen quite excited about the participation and celebrating the day.
