Literary Event-Story Slam Competition organised by Literary Club


“Great Stories happens to those who can tell them” With the motive to inspire students to speak up & think out of the box, Literary  Club of Quest Group of Institutions had organized a Story Slam Competition on 2nd April 2015. Event was ruled by Enthusiasm, Creativity, fun, laughter and various exciting & terrible expression; when the students shared their stories on given theme. The theme for Story Slam Competition was a unique blend of -Love, Horror, Comedy and Adventure.

The Judges for event were Mr. Sukhdeep Singh HOD –MBA, Ms. Sonika Aggrawal HOD-ECE & Ms. Rini Majhan HOD-CSE. The judgment was given on the basis of relevance of theme, creativity, communication skills & moral of the story.

Total 11 teams participated in the event and each team consists of four members with their active participation. Each team was given 1 minute to plot their story & 3 minutes to share it. Interesting part was, each team got the initials of their story. Here is the Glimpse-

Theme-LOVE

  • As they say, “True love never ends”…
  • First love is unforgettable…
  • Love is a sparkling flame between two hearts which eventually burn the soul…

Theme- HORROR

  • In a house on a hill, dead are living still…
  • I have seen them, their intention is to kill & they will, they will…
  • I still remember the horrible night at the graveyard…

Theme- COMEDY

  • In ancient times, people who sacrificed their lives, place, wealth & pleasures, were called SAINTS, nowadays, they are called ENGINEERS…
  • Never ask 3 things, a Girl’s age, Man’s salary & Engineer’s suppli…
  • I thought my uncle is a hero, but he is a zero…
  • Getting attendance at the end of every class is just like getting salary at the end of the MONTH.

Theme-ADVENTURE

  • A journey that changed my life forever…
  • To die would be an awfully big adventure…
  • Life is like a blank canvas, so paint it with colorful adventures.

At the end, winners were awarded by the certificates & memorable moments were captured …

2nd position was bagged by Yashwinder Singh(ME-6th), Rajat(ME-6th), Deepankar Khattar(Civil-4th) & Rahul Kumar Jha(ME-6th)
