Quest bags first position in PTU’s CMAI debate competition

It was a proud moment for Quest group of Institutions when its CSE student, Maninder Singh, achieved the First position in the Intercollege Debate Competition on 15th of November, on the occasion of” National Punjab Education Summit & Awards 2013” organized by CMAI association of India & PTU & supported by AICTE at the PHD house, Chandigarh.

Maninder’s exceptional elocution skills, confidence & expressions abetted him to beat the 50 odd contestants from various colleges of PTU. His outlook on the topic “Is Alternate Energy Important for Education & Industry “was so effectual that the, jury consisting of more than 10 members from Academia, adjudged him the winner. Despite the completion being really tough, Maninder had an edge above the others. Maninder was escastic & said ”He has been motivated at every step in the college & this had led to inculcation of high values of self-assurance & freedom of expression in him”

Vice Chairman, Mr. H.P.S. Kanda was elated with the news & congratulated the Bright student & added that ”In forums like these the students get to comprehend & develop their  potentials ,which enthuse them to become ,self-motivated humans & professionals.”
