World Quality day celebrations at Quest


Quest Group of Institutions ,celebrated the World Quality day on 8th of November raise awareness of how quality, systems and process approach can make a resounding impact on human life.Associate Director & HOD- MBA of QGI,Mr.Sukhdeep(alumnus IIM- Kozhikode) delivered a powerful seminar on the significance and impact of Quality management .He informed the students that  World Quality Day is an initiative introduced by the United Nations in 1990 to promote the importance of the contribution of quality management to sustainable development within organisations and countries across the globe.

He updated the students regarding this year’s world quality day theme ‘making collaboration count’. He elaborated the Goal of TQM is –“Do the right things right the first time, every time.” He explained that Total Quality Management means that the organization’s culture is defined by and supports the constant attainment of customer satisfaction through an integrated system of tools, techniques, and training.  This involves the continuous improvement of organizational processes, resulting in high quality products and services.

Therefore, he added that TQM is the art of managing the whole to achieve excellence,in order to achieve Higher customer satisfaction, Better efficiency of operations, More productivity & profit, Improved process, More market share, Spread of happiness & prosperity & above all Better quality of life for all.

Vice Chairman,QGI,Mr.H.P.S.Kanda,who dedicatedly strives to  follow Quality parameters for every facet of Quest ,added that  total client satisfaction through quality products and services is a need of the hour ,in every field  and continuous improvements to processes, systems, people, suppliers, partners, products, and services is the key to success in every field of life.He advised  the students to adopt & pursue the methodology of TQM to accomplish excellence in every sphere of their lives.
