The scope of Mechanical Engineering college in Punjab also includes simulation, modeling & control of plants/ process / industries, non-destructive testing, Mechanical Engineers play an important role in design and manufacturing of everything from small individual parts and devices (e.g., inkjet printer nozzles and microscale sensors) to large systems (e.g., aircraft, spacecraft and machine tools).

Mechanical engineers are responsible to deal with concepts such as thermodynamics, robotics, mechanics, structural analysis, kinematics, fluid mechanics etc. State-of-the-art manufacturing units, motor vehicles, aircraft and aerospace parts, industrial machinery, various types of engines, power plant equipment, heating and cooling systems and other simple & complex machinery is designed and developed by mechanical engineers using these concepts. Mechanical engineers are responsible not only for designing of new mechanical systems, but also for manufacturing, testing & maintaining them.

• Making a diesel car with individual breaking, suspension and good efficiency

For B.Tech. 1st Year 10+2 (PCM) from a recognized Board with minimum 45% marks.
For LEET (2nd Year) 3 Year Polytechnic Diploma in any stream from a recognized Board with 45% marks
