Civil Engineering provides the way of directing the great sources of power in nature for the use and convenience of the society. It is the oldest and broadest engineering discipline, which deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment. Civil engineering as a career is a challenge, self-expression, achievement and personal reward through their work. Civil engineers build bridges, roads, canals, dams, tall buildings, tunnels, highways as well as water supply and sewage systems/ by applying physical laws, mathematical equations and theories of mechanics. The role of a Civil Engineer is to utilize the available resources.
An Expert Civil engineer is expected to consider many factors in the design process, from the construction costs and expected lifetime of a project, to government regulations and potential environmental hazards such as earthquakes. Civil engineering has many engineering sub-fields, such as transportation engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction engineering.
For B.Tech. 1st Year -10+2 (PCM) from a recognized Board with minimum 45% marks.
For LEET (2nd Year)– 3 Year Polytechnic Diploma in any stream from a recognized Board with minimum 45% marks.
For International Students -12 years of formal schooling with Mathematics and Science Subjects with at least 45% marks from a Board/ University recognized by the Government of the respective Country.
The Civil Engineering program at Quest Group of Institutions emphasizes the study and application of traditional fields within Civil Engineering and construction management including construction techniques and equipment, surveying, hydraulics, structural steel & concrete design, soil mechanics/analysis and environmental controls/treatment. The curriculum includes an introduction to civil engineering design concepts, construction management and principles, extensive laboratory activities and computer applications.
The curriculum provides a solid foundation in civil design, construction and environmental studies. Graduates are prepared to perform particularly well in the application of existing technologies to most aspects of the civil engineering in Punjab field.

- Govt. Sector: Various centre and state govt. departments like P.W.D. (B&R, Irrigation, and Public Health etc), C.P.W.D., and M.E.S. & Education need Civil Engineers.
- Semi- Govt.: Various Boards & Govt. undertakings like Electricity, Railways, and Local Bodies like Municipal Committees etc require Civil Engineers for their developmental & maintenance projects.
- Private Sector: There are several construction companies (L&T, Simplex Infrastructures, Soma Constructions, Jay Pee Group, DLF, and Omaxe etc.) that require large no. of civil engineers and demand is growing day by day.
